I need to get my paws on some DivX codecs as in order to watch a file on my pc because at the moment it only plays the sound with no images.

I know nothing about codes so dont want to start downloading any old crap.

Can anyone help me out?

Google would only tell me that I can VLC media players on Ebay anyway.

I use VLC player aswell.Will play Avi's which WMP wont play :(

Why is the file extension? I might be able to tell you where to get the download if the file isn't a MPEG or similar.

No I'm on my laptop at the moment but i'll download it when I'm my PC.

i use vlc... best thing i ever downloaded, plays everything, even vids that are goosed lol

VLC player doesnt need you to install codec as they are built in and will play any (havnt find any that dont) media files.
