right, my dad has a personal plate, and i want it off him :P now he wouldnt really mind but i was just wondering, how much will it cost, to get it off his and put on mine?? obv i would have to get new plates printed, but anymore costs? not sure but both the cars are registered to the same address and everything does that make a difference?

£80 trasnfer fee i believe.

£80 or £120 to put it on retention (i think)

Then free to stick it on a car!

it's £80 to swap it to the next car, but £110 if your puttin it on retention until you get the next car and put it on. So in your case its £80.

You dirty boy! Your not Rep horing enough!

If its somebody you know they can actually assign it to your car. My numberplate is in my name but the car is in my dads name.
I just assigned it the car, saved on any extra fees.

Think thats what happened anyways...I will let you know when I see him tonight.
