I always use the spray on tyre shine stuff which does a really good job but only seems to last a 3-5 days, i was wondering if anyone knows if the gel works any better?

Or another chemical that lasts longer?

Cheers

I use the Megs spray on stuff and they look amazing but it does wear off after a few days but I dont think you'll find anything that'll stay on for vast amounts of time.

I use some tyre shine that i get at a local pound shop and its last for ages, good couple of weeks. I think its a simoniz bottle of tyre shine in a spray form.

when i asked rich about this he said he uses blackfire long lasting tyre gel, and it lasts for ages. Just haven't got round to ordering myself some yet.

usually dont use turtlewax products but was well impressed with there tyre shine spray, shined up real nice, and without the tacky shine, just a nice new tyre shine

Meguires Hot Tyre Shine i use..... its good but doesnt last long, dont think many of them do.

It shouldnt slide everywhere unless you coat your whole tyre in the stuff lol the tyre walls dont touch the road therfore wont effect grip in any way! :)

I use that now n again, since my dad's got a couple of bottles in the garage. I was quite impressed with how long it lasts for the price, but it leaves a royal mess on your alloys if it runs.

I use Blackfire Long Lasting Tyre Gel. It looks great, and last 2-3 weeks at a time, even in bad weather. It can be made to look satin or glossy depending on how many coats you apply. Here's what it looks like...
