right, my mate wants me to order a wax/sealent for his car over winter. its a classic car from i think 1974-1975. Austin Healy. anyway he wants to know whats best to use.
all hes going to do is wax/seal it up so its safe over winter. but it needs to be safe on the paintwork as its like 30 year old paint.
whats best to use? i told him arcrylic jacket would be good to use. opinions people :D

Wax oil was used back in the day when they were around. It can be bought over the internet. It does seal in water so you have to make sure that every thing is dry. You can buy it in kit form with bungs to do all inner pannels. You just drill holes on box sections insert and spray and then place bung to seal.

On a tight budget, Poorboy's Natty's Blue paste wax, with more to spend one of the Werkstatt kits on special offer this month (either will give far more durability than the Natty's Blue). With regard to the Werkstatt kits, choose the carnauba for red and yellow paints, and the acrylic for everything else. I would stay away from Acrylic Jacket if it's just protection he's after - Acrylic Jacket will also polish the paint due to the 40% Final Polish II content. :)
