Yes... They're made out of tin. We all know that :-p That's why we love them so much :-) Top Gear rated them 2/5 for safety. The Megane scored 5/5.

yep, except i crashed on purpose so i could get a new car...though it was only side impact so wasn't exactly crushed!

But with the Saxo's being made out of tin (not safe), they're still hell of a lot quicker than other (for example) 1.6 16v's which are made out of steel (Fiesta ZS). Hehe!!!

Seen that, they're so good they spin round and drive off after the crash.

Look at the test where they crash one into a Wall at 70.

The Re-inforced cage is immense, but with the car being that ridgid at that impact, the force on the occupents would be fatal.

when you compare the saxo to the other cars its not quite so bad as just looking at the clip of the saxo, if that makes any sense.

i know that saxos aren't the safest of cars but i love mine and thats why i still have her. just looking at the clip wouldn't make me go out and get rid of her. you could crash in any car.
