right i recently done a vtr to vts engine conversion and i want to declare it on the logbook, is there a way of changing it from a vtr to vts on the logbook or is it just a case of changing the engine number and havin it as a vtr with a vts engine in it. Basically i want to change the car to a vts how do i go about doing it if i can? cheers:Y:

You inform the DVLA I believe there's an admin charge involved but search their site they may have a downloadable form for you to complete.

If engine size is the same - as it is vtr to vts - then I'm sure you just need to inform them of the new engine number but you will have to tell your insurance company that you have changed the engine!

Your car will always be a vtr though because that is how it was originally registered!
