leckie i agree but this way was free couldnt find a different way as fast as i needed but im open to ideas if you know how it can be done? do you just mean get someone with a website to host it on there?

i bet the reason it wont work for people when they type it in, is because when you make the link, it shortens what you can see.. so they're not typing in the WHOLE URL.. just what is shown..

the part missed out, is indicated by the ... so maybe if you make a space in the URL, then the whole thing will be shown :)

right guys seems gigafiles was hacked and everyone that had stuff hosted on there had it wiped!! anyone fancy hosting my file for me its a 7 mb pdf so wont take much room just need somewhere safe for it with as small a url as pos rep available for help cheers

seems gigafiles was hacked and everyone that had stuff hosted on there had it wiped!!Oh dear, and on their site they say Inferior hackers attacked our site and wiped all user data and user files. We lost everything including our backups.If they were inferior hackers I'd hate to upset the superior hackers. If they managed to delete everything they may also have been able to download everyone's membership details and cover their tracks - I'd be more worried about that.

If you're going to do this frequently it may be worth considering your own hosting.
