Broken Collar Bone

How do I know if I've broken my collar bone?

I just ran into my bedroom door and it hurts alot... I can't feel that it's broken though, just a bit lump and a lot of redness at the moment. :ill: :cry:

Can't be arsed going to Hospital on a saturday night. I'll be there for hours. I'll leave it tomorrow see if it's any better :haha:

well when i watch the hospital programs, the people which have broken it can hardly move it

I broke my collarbone once, could only move it out a bit, try moving your arm round and round, when mine was broken part of the bone moved up and pushed my skin out so u myt get that? hope its not, takes ages to heal

my mates just broke his

he can move from elbow down perfect but noy from shoulder to elbow as it hurts like a mofo

Get to the hospital in the morning and find out if its broke, can see why you dont want to go on a Sataday night tho. And in future dont run into bedroom doors :P

I broke mine but i was skiing so mine may have been more serious lol.

I could move the bottom of my arm but if i tried to move anything connected to my collar bone it hurt like hell. Even breathing hurt it!

If its too bad just go to the doctors mate. If you have to sit in a&e for ages find a mate with a psp to lend you;)

ok I think it isn't broken then just badly bruised as I can move my arm at the shoulder :P

was a very stupid moment, the door was closing slowly and I tried to run through it before it close but I just ended up running into it :P

i very much doubt that its broken.. if it is.. the pain would be unbearable!

lol sorry but can just imagine you running nto the door, id say get to the hospital, the walk in ones are great should only be in about an hour depending on if there busy
