Good Price? Opinions

Before anyone says im not using the search for this because I want a specific upto date answer.

Basically ive found a VTR, very close to me. Its a 1998 MK1 in posi blue completely standard. Its done 72k. He wants 1750.

Thing is i kinda have a fetish for the black ones (always MK1), but they are so pricy, cheapest ive seen was 2.2k in decent condition.

Firstly is it a good deal cause it seems like it to me, and secondly is it worth grabbing a bargain if its not perfect to what i want. I do like the posi blue but ive obviously already had one and it looks exactly the same bar the VTR alloys. Its doin my head in so opinions are very welcome :afro:

If he "wants" £1750, can't you knock that down to around £1550? That would be a good deal!

i paid £2200 for a 1997 VTS with 40k on the clock. totally standard.

that should give you a rough idea of whether or not it's a good price... i would say knock a couple of hundred off and you have a bargain :)

why would you regret it ? If you like the styling of the mk1's then go for it!

shite. Seems like my insurance company has brought in a new policy whilst i was on holiday. No VTR's for under 21's. Back to lookin at westcoasts and quiksilvers.
