The black mesh you get from Halfords is metal coated in plastic, which might explain the extra cost.

It won't rust, and it can be easily formed to the shape you want. <img src= "smileys/happy.gif">

It cost me £20 and I got twice as much as I needed, unfortunately.

It's actually a prototype by Black Diamond, the company that makes brakes!

They needed a VTR to fit one up to, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time, so I got it for nowt. <img src= "smileys/grin.gif">

Actually, it might make your day better!

I'll keep it short, but...

my girlfriend got a job last May, 40 miles from where we live, but she didn't have a car. She started using mine, on the premise she'd get her own soon.

10 months and over 20,000 miles later, she's STILL using my car!

She's doing double the national average mileage. <img src= "smileys/depressed.gif">

By the time she gets her own car, she will have been using mine for over a YEAR! <img src= "smileys/depressed.gif">

So basically, I'm not lucky at all.

Oh, and also, I'm still paying the £300 a month for owning the car.
