Try My Tyres (http://www.mytyres.co.uk) for getting your rubber mate. I think you can get Yoko's at £40 a tyre which is quite cheap to be honest.

As for your tracking, you don't need it done but that's up to you. When I got new tyres on the Westcoast I decided to get it done, because I didn't want the new tyres to wear unevenly. I think it's about £25 - £30 to get it done though...!

seems a very decent price! tyres i have on atm just don't grip at all! wheel spin sooo easily even if im doing like 10mph or so then floor it, they spin :( awful!

Yeah, not bad to be honest.

I heard a lot of people complain about the Yokohama A539's though, especially Willsy. I'd recommend the Toyo Proxes, very good tyres for handling and grip but not the best in Wet but STILL good.

If that make's sense.

anything is better that what i have atm....4 different treads! grips like a bag of dog shit

Best get some bought and fitted asap mate as you don't want 4 different treads nor that handle shit for winter.

yeh, ill see what the garage i always go to can do for some proxies, he doesn't charge me VAT so....may be in for a winner there if not, my tyres it is then get them fitted

I reckon a garage would charge £60+ for a Toyo Proxe as they are a VERY good tyre.

no harm in trying though, saved my self loads on my straight through pipe, citroen was after £50 for just the pipe as where kwik fit and central tyres, got it done £40 fitted so....who knows!

but seems ive found the cheapest place there!

Yoko's have been absolutely useless in anything but dry weather!

I had Toyo Proxes before that (which ill be going back to) and they never had even the slightest slip even through all the winter conditions, very impressive tyres

Matt - In the time of owning the Proxes aswell, I have never had any problems with them in the wet, just rumours I have heard.

My tyres will need replacing probably within the next year and I plan on getting Proxes once again.
