Stone chips, minor scratches etc

When you guys notice a new stone chip or a minor scratch on your car how do you react?

Do you think, FFS not another one and wish they were not there.

Or

Do you think, FFS, ah well, it's a car and will happen?

Or

Something else?

It doesnt bother me too much because im having a respray next year anyways. Can you get those brow things which protect the front off your car.

They look so bent. Pretty much every car in America has them, they even have these carbon fibre look things that cover the whole front end except the grill n headlights. Ruins the car. Bloke with a yellow Corvette Z06 had one he should be shot.

And it pisses me off big time when i get a scratch etc

its something you have to live with.

Theres nowt you can do except use a bumper bra or whack on some of that paint protect film in demon tweeks, might be crap though!

I think there's something called 'diamond bright' or something like that. Volkswagen use it on their cars and there are two types. Upholstery which stops spillages from being absorbed up and Paint protection which is a clear lacquer that goes over the final colour and protects the paint work

A few scratches on a car is nothing to cry about. Yeah I admit I get a bit hot headed when I see a new one on my car but I'd never cry about it!

It really pisses me off, especially as I had a full respray done less than a year ago. It really narks me when you're parked up somewhere and you see someone walking past your car almost touching it as they go past.

Scratches come, but they do not go, but you learn to live with them.

Very annoying when you find a so called NEW scratch. I especially hate tight carparks, and i always park where the is only one car alongside, so i can avoid at least one side getting marked. Obsessed i know i just hate little dings and marks.:angry:

everyday i go out and look at the bonnet of the car and im convinced i have more stone chips and it breaks my heart :(

it usually doesnt bother me too much as there are were a few anyway.

but i was on my way after a night out in southampton at 2am this sat morning and ended up having to overtake a gritting lorry! put about 50 of the fuckers in the bonnet!
