A friend of mine had a Subaru P1 and had one of these turbo'd Saxo's behind him on the M5 and when he open the Subaru up the Saxo was stuck to his arse end much to his suprise.
That seems like a good enough reason to turbo a Saxo.

Thats good to hear I think a supercharger may me a better route though.

That hurts and it'll be pushing some serious power shortly when I can decide which route I'm going for.

Did you encounter many problems?
I've been speaking to people and they say the fuel economy is awful which is to be expected I suppose.

If you spam... you will not get anywhere. It's not big... nor clever.
Btw, the Photo/Video section has been demoted mate.
You can now find it towards the bottom of the forum in the "Saxo Related Forums" under "Saxo Problems & Queries".

My VTS tends to average about 30 miles to £10 of fuel... so pretty expensive when running around town on boost!
My VTR does approx 70 miles to £10, so theres a comparison... from experience.

WTF!?!
So in the VTS, a full tank will see you around 105 miles?
And in the VTR, a full tank will see you around 245 miles?

VTR is very good opn juice... my guestimates are for around town.
The VTS has always done 30 miles to £10 or ther abouts... its slightly better on motorways and a lot better if off boost cruising. But thats no fun :P

I get really shitty mileage in the vtr its probably about 65-70 miles per £10 but i think this will be down to cam and mods and the fact that at the moment its only ever driven around the town not on motorway runs. So you all recon if i strap a charger or turbo on this it will be a complete no no for normal everday use?
Clouds_mate
9th November 2006, 13:03
Atm i put 10-15 to get to work. I do 40miles a day.
200miles to £10-15 pounds.
