If its a Mk2:
Grab a hold of the plug that leads to them and twist it about 45 degrees and the bulb will come loose. Change bulbs put it back in the headlight then twist it the opposite way to lock it back in again!
Its also worth mentioning that the 2 teeth which allow it to be twisted into place are different sizes, so make sure you put them back in the right way or you'll have a bit of bother removing them again!

just back from fitting them
got the drivers main beam in fine, and the 2 sidelights
but then the passenger main bulb was a struggle
couldnt get the metal clip off the light, took me a good half hour to pull the cnut off, ended up using pliers :fcuk:

The connections to the back of the sidelights can be a right pain in the neck to remove... After time, the pin does become stiff. A screwdriver usually does the trick. The sidelight AND headlight bulbs on the passenger/nearside are a little harder to change because that's where the fusebox is located, etc...

hi all. was wondering if anyone can help me here i changed the alternator in my saxo as it wasnt charging the battery (so i was told anyway) and the battery light on dash think was working so i have changed it, its not coming on, the guy at the garage said would be ok as the new alternator was charging, but i thought it had to show when ignition on to show it is charging. any help on this would be much appreciated? cheers
