Provident are terrible mate. took 2months to sort out my claim.
will not be renewing with them.
they wanted £1400 extra cus apparently im a young driver. i asked how could that be as ive been on the policy since day one. their response was ok, there goes your 10 years ncb. (dads ncb), so eventually managed to sort it with legal help.
iv heard CIS are good for newish drivers.

Jesus, either you entered something wrong or they just reallllly dont like you hehe.
THe insurance quote does sound a little high matey. In theory your renewal should mean another years no claims which should drop it down alot more dramatically than that.

that is well expensive, on a brand new fiesta st (2.0 150bhp) i got quoted £2200 fully comp
i am 18 and had my licence for a year, and thats one year as a named driver so i havent got a years no clains.
try admiral or elephant, i tend to find admiral a bit cheaper when i have got quotes before.
hope this helps
