Is there any thing I can do after I've taken the shot (eg on my PC) to reeduce the glare from the number plates?

Did you spray that numberplate spray stuff on that stops cameras flashing you ;) lol

No but its covered in gold class which isn't going.

There was low light though hence the flash.

You could do it on photoshop once its on the pc mate, although the letters wont be very clear it wont be all bright.
