First off, how do i disconnect rear speakers.
Secondly- Wiring up subs etc...
I have-
0gauge Power Cable
0Gauge earth wire
4gauge power
4gauge earth
fuse and holder.
battery terminal.
2 fuses in a box type thing
connector bock and various other connections
I know the following-
Connect one end of battery terminal to 0gauge power cable, run this to connector block in boot.
Run a 4 gauge from block to each amp.
Is this even correct?
I have NO IDEA what to do with earthing etc...
Please can i have a run through. Thanks

take out rear seat, undo the bolt in the seatbelt, open window, lift the seal, carefully pull the panel from the door edge.
As here, then snip the wires attatched to the old rear speaker.

You can aktually do it with out taking the rear bench out, it made it no harder for me anyway leaving it in.

To earth it, just find a decent metal point on the car, i used the hinge on the rear seats. worked for me anyway.

car is stripped.
would it be wise putting a second set of Boston S50's in rear quarters and amping them?
How do i do the earthing though????

Wouldnt of thort u'll need a second set really, the 1 set should be fine.
To earth, u need to run the earthing cable from the amp to a metal contact on the car. like i mentioned before i used the metal hinge that holds the rear backseats to the car.

If you want to make your system sound worse fit rear speakers.
If your installing it and you dont know what your doing stop right now. Find someone who does know what there doing or you could ed up with a BBQed car or a pile of blown up ICE gear.

dave im willing to learn.
what is the 0 gauge earth for???
so it is simply,
a 0gauge power cable from battery to connector block with a fuse close tot he battery.
2 4 gauge cables from connector block, one to each amp.
an earth from each amp to a piece of bare metal.
Is that it?

it dont really matter a great deal about the gauges of wire mate, i made my powercable with a bit of flew my mate uses to wire up lapposts, wacked a fuse on it and its fine, then used maplin shitty amp kit to do the other and i have a 1500 w amp 1000 wat amp and a 500 all using this type of stuff, never had a problem in 2 years!
to earth it get your wire, its probly black, put it on the ground or - sign on the amp then attatch the other end to a suitible earth point in the car, the rear seat bolt will do or the a bolt that holds the boot lock in place etc
go on the net or get a haynes axpower manual im sure that will give you sum pictures etc etc
