Looking for a complete setup for a sub.

Not sure what to get, i listen to rock music so was advised to get a 10" sub?
Obviously need Amp and all of the wires, i dont really want to spend much at all. I saw a JBL kit for 139.99 on one of the car audio sites, but just wondered if it can be done cheaper buying individual.

People will say eBay probably, but if you guys could give me an idea of what i should be looking at...

Maybe an AMP which has the capability to power a sub and component speakers? rather than having to upgrade amp if i ever chose to go components in the front?

with the packages u tend to get more for your money but it doesnt mean it is going to be quality gear. you pay for what u get so the more spend the better it will be in theory as long as you dont go for the shite unknown stuff which was 5 million rms lol

yer mate with jbl cant go bad although my mate had a couple of problems. as for the 6x9's with the subin it will only distort the 6x9 and make it all sound shite

scrap 6x9's and get sum boston s50's for the front and amp em
