ok, so i got the car back from the bodyshop yesterday... all the kit is on apart from the sideskirts (will be going on, on wednesday)
i was really happy with it except for a few things which apparently couldnt be helped...
there is a gap at the top of one of the arches,
and a gap running along the top of one of the side panels. (only a few cm long tho) both of these i am going to bond on and clamp it overnight and see if it helps.

and today i get in the car and can hardly open my drivers side door.... the side panel has come off a little bit and when i open the door its catching on the arch... so another thing i need to bond and clamp on.

enough of the kit.. more about the car...

went to my mates after getting the car back.... got in the car and it wouldnt start.. (have owned the car just over 16 months and this has never happened)..... ended up having to bump start it... it was fine all last night then today.... wouldnt start again. Had to bump start it.

and... when i picked the car up he said one of my brake cylinders is leaking. so i've got to get that fixed now.

had nothing but bother with this kit... pics tomorrow

and it was making a fast ticking noise when i tried to start it

but today... even the central locking took a few atempts to work... no power at all

oh did get some good news tho....

as they had to cut out my arch i can now have bigger wheels and lower it even more... Get in... 80mm here we come.. .

no mate but they did have to cut the arches and drill into bodywork for the clips

sounds like to me they have maybe welded something and not disconnected anything which results in messing up your battery and alternator, but if your sure they didnt weld anything, how long was the car in the boydshop for?when your turning it over does it make the same noise or does it change tone?

hold on.... thinking about it they possibly welded my exhaust but i dont know... i will find out.. they had the car for 6 days.

and if the problem is what you think it is.. how much are we talking to fix it
