not the best of days today

this morning on Radio Scotland that the 51st Highland were flying out to Iraq on Wednesday to perform duties in Basra.

The 51st Highland are made up reserve soldiers from all over the Highlands,

Given the difficult situation in Iraq at the moment may they all get through their 6 month tour safely



i just said goodbye to my best mate he is off out to drive an armoured vehicle to make sure civilians are kept safe and delivering food etc for them,just hope he gets home ok,feeling sorry for his wife and 3 children crazy stuff going to iraq it certainly would not be me!all the best dave m8!!!!!
