after years of saving & waiting finally bought my self a car before!

only about a month away till my birthday so cant wait to get out on the roads.

its a 2000 black mk2 vtr, 67k miles, lady owned. drives well just need the front box replaced and should get it in the next couple of weeks. Only payed £2000 so really chuffed with the deal.

loads of plans for it, just need the money now! if you'd like to help me out ive got some wheels for sale, check it out in the saxo parts area!

will get some pics up as soon as it arrives!

yeh have only been looking at mk1 vtr's, but saw this one, thought lets be cheeky offer 2k and he took it. cant say fairer

yeh thanks guys really looking foward too getting on the road, just afraid of that massive insurance bill!

ive also just had somebody say i shouldn't of paid more than 1800 for it? 'their worth jack shit' ....... apparently lol

That person is an idiot! Probly jelous!

A mate of mine bought a 02 VTR for £4700 and his insurence as a named driver was £1200, he crashed last week and its going up to 2k now.

well quinn direct have quoted me £1700, so not 2 bad 4 a 17yr old on a vtr,

You should try Adrian flux, think thats the name anyways. there really good on VTR/S insurance... :)

try bell and play around adding your parents to your insurance... fully comp for me 1458 in my name and i am 18 mk2 vtr! :thumbup: just a thought!
