EVO FQ400 every time.
4 seconds to 60mph is plain silly.
However, the Escort Cossie is one of many cars I wish I'd owned.

Buying and insureing are the cheap bits. Runnung cost like fuel and tyres, clutches ect are the expenisve bit. I know people that can afford the hp and insurance but only drive theres at weekend cos the only do 15-20 mpg. The other thing is that they are just so expensive to repair.

I'm 34 and I've no idea what a Lotus Cortina is although if the Lotus Carlton is anything to go on I'd have one!!
My dad had an Austin Mini Cooper S.
Therefore, would have to be the Escort RS Turbo - fantastic car, yet ANOTHER i wish i'd owned!

. . . Oh dear, oh dear, see this is the problem with the world !
Who said the children are our future :-)
Lotus Cortina was a Mk1 (or Mk2 but mainly Mk1) Ford Cortian with Lotus suspension and a twin cam Lotus tuned engine. All Mk1s we'r White with a Green Strip down the side of the car, the first True performance saloon which the Evo and Scoobys are today.

Nissan Pulsar is a sweet ride. Scary fast, but feel real small inside - even compared to a Saxo.
Got my master-plan set out to get me a Mk1 Golf GTi and a Lancia Delta HF Integrale. Keep it old school. Stay away from the Japanese wheels (Supra, MR2, what's that then?).
Lotus Capri? Don't bear thinkin about. Was that UKs answer to Kit-Car?

Cossie or Skyline
Skyline because near me there really, really rare theres 1 down the road but it's bog standard and really old.
Cossie because there class, and look well smart if there done properly

Cossie as the others are too common, whereas the cossie is a piece of sporting history.
I nearly bought a Mk1 Cortina about 6 months ago as a project car...... I love them, I also want a Mk1 Escort and also a VW Caravelle 21 window Samba Bus.... Mmmmm
Chris :)

I'll take the slating but i would have any of them, for similar price range and insurance, i would have a TVR Cerbera.
I no its a TVR and prolly have a lesser build quality than my saxo, but ive loved eever since i can remember, and that is the car i'd have
