Just got my D900 in the post about half an hour ago, have waited months for t-mobile to bring it out and am switching from money grabbing orange to a more flexible tariff with t-mobile.

The problem is is much bigger than i thought and i dont really think i like it, had a quick scan through the menu and it seems quite slow in opening things and getting back to the standby screen...going to take a lot of getting used to as im moving from a SE K750, i went through a nokia phase got bored and moved to sony for the past few years but wasn't at all impressed with the 750 i went through 4 in the first 3 months alone!

So this is my 1st Samsung and 1st impressions aren't positive, the menu's look fiddly and complicated, and it feels too wide and tall. Some quick pics below

Dont know what to do...whether ro stick with it or to send it back...i dont want the SE K800 my mate has it and its too big and bulky even compared to the k750

Thats a nightmare matey. Send it back, im sure you will have like 14 days or something. Pop into the carphone warehouse or phones for you and test out a few phones, then swap it with your new one through t-mobile :)

N73 hmm will hae a look into it, dont think t-mobile do it though and i really want this tariff as orange are ripping me off big style.

I have been in the shops a while ago and the problem with that is they are dummy phones so i cant see the software and quality of the features

personally I think sony ericssons are the way forward, my last 3 phones have been S.E's : T630 [class little white thing with led in the joystick], then k750i, good phone at first but gets really slow if you dont keep flashing the firmware, then now k800i, fantastic phone, only fault is the quality of video recording but stills are top notch!
But if LG get as good at phones as they are in tellys, i might be swayed and that 5meg cam phone is nuts, but too big and not really too nice on the eyes.
