Hiya fellas,

Just had my car serviced at 58k on the clock and after picking it back up from the garage and getting home i realised that nobody had filled my logbook in saying what they have done. I dont really wanna go back cos i nearly lamped the mechanic for snapping my (well worn!) centre section and me having to replace that.

To get to the point, is this a problem cos it doesnt say anywhere that the cam belt has been checked or changed which worrys me with the car coming up to 60k.

And if i do need to replace it how much will it cost approximatly? (y'know right before christmas and all!!!)

Thanks, any feedback much appreciated!

Ruddy

P.S UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE SANDFORD ROAD GARAGE IN DONCASTER THEY ARE A BUNCH OF ANNUS'S

Yeah you need to build up service history!

Mine's done 78k and is still on the original cambelt  Should do that soon lol

Yeah definately go back and get it stamped. If you think you're hit the mechanic then get a mate to go in with your reciept and do it for you. It's definately worth it

Take the log book back and get them to fill it in. Remember you paid for a service.

This makes me wonder where the hell mine is, must look for it when I get home...

Sorry think i got my wires crossed somewhere, i meant the logbook has been stamped but the tickboxes havent been filled in or anything. just a stamp on the bottom right hand page.

So go back get it filled in then stamp on his head yeah?

Cheers for the input
