I have a beef with these 80 year old fools who insist on driving despite being completely useless and a danger to everyone else.

I've had a few runnings with them and even got cautioned by the police for 40mins when they caught me over taking this old chump who was flying along at 15mph.

On the way back from work today I was driving alone abiding all laws not doing anything wrong and the stupid 80 year old fcuk in front of me decides she's going to stop and have a chat with a passing car.

I'm slightly pissed off at this but as I'm an observent and compotent driver I managed to deal with the situation ahead.....all good your thinking?

No as when the stupid fcuk stopped to talk she didn't use the hand brake so came crassing into my car, I tried to slam it in reverse but it was too late

:bump: :bump: :bump:

I'm far from impressed and jump out to inspect the damage:bump:

Theres only a stone type chip in the bumper luckly but what really winds me up is the stupid fcuk is just talking away to her friend.

Now this woman clearly doesn't know her arse from a head and wouldn't know if I was Daniel O'donnell waving a free lifetime membership to Gala bingo.

So I aked if she even new what had happened?

She replies "Yes, I just stopped"

I reply "That's your first problem..you just stopped!!! your second is you've just hit my car?"

This women now looks quite scared and the bloke she talks to takes over and asks if there is any damage etc....

I tell him no and if you just move out the way i'll continue on my way without getting any more wound up.

Eventually the stupid Fcuk moves without even saying sorry or acknowledging what she's done.....I was not a happy man at all

What really gets me is if it had been the other way round I would have got slaughtered and would have been the made out to be some crazy boy racer etc etc etc.........

Th bloke who she was talking to complimented me on my calm approach but It wasn't easy I could have gone mad at her but she looked so clueless I would have looked a complete twat which I didn't want to do as I'd done nothing wrong.

RANT OVER

I'm still not happy though.

Insurance should go up after a certain age and then then they should eventualy lose there licence, look at it this way.

There eye sights shit
There weeker so they cannot do avasive manouvers
They drive slow which cause more accidents that people speeding
They start losingit after a certain age and are just simply no safe to be put behind the wheel of a car.

Tho these do not apply to all old people just most of them lol

yeah some guy in an automatic corsa was driving along side me on a dual carrage way the other day, he could easily see me, but he decided to just come in to my lane by a good foot and half, he was about 1cm from my car and i was almost up the curb ! !

didnt have time to use the horn, just had to put my foot down and i hope i get past him in time, after i did get past him, he then just went back in his lane and stayed there,

stupid man, pissed me off and he didnt even touch me but was close enough,

I really dont think they should be on the road they just make other drivers impatient and accidents are caused.
The worst place ive found them is at roundabouts. They realise there in the wrong lane, swerve across and then when you beep at them they look at you like its your fault!

There is a 2 mile long straight road where i live, near an airport! But not busy at all! There are clear national speed limit signs but they MUST go slower! Most oldies go around 30-40 limit in a straight line in a 60 limit!

Alot of old drivers do really wind me up on the roads and should not be aloud to drive, yet again my grampa is 84 and drives a vauxhall omega 2.5 which is huggge i could fit my saxo in the boot lol and i have nothing bad to say about his driving at all.

LMAO!!!

Sounds like you handled the situation well Steve.

As long as there is DEFINATLY no damage then just put it behind you. Nothing
we can do to avoid those types of drivers I guess. They are older and not
always wiser... What can we do?

fookin arses, i had a woman pull into the fastlane on the motorway at 45mph at rush hour, right in front of me, lucky enough i swerved clear of her at 70mph, she started shaking her head at me, i lost it, went crazy i swear im not and angry person but she nearly had me murdering her.ANd then u get the 'too good to notice you' drivers, mercs, jags etc fukers, they like to sit with ther make up cacked wifes and grin at you on a saturday after noon, wasnt that when his new 318 got smoked up a dual carriageway, complete fannys, thing is, im always courteous on the road, and i do feel like a dick when i rally it,but these people just are so far up ther on arses that they feel everyone else is scum, put the pedal down to these clowns... us young ones have the power of the road...full stop.
