Hey I've just found this place, been looking around and it looks excellent. I got a 1.4 206 at the moment but I'm planning on joining the saxo club very soon :) Gonna get back to reading posts now. Thanks for having me folks.

I've been offered a VTR by a mate from work. Are they as nippy as I've been told? Whats peoples opinions on them, anything you think I should know about problem wise? Thanks.

VTRs are great cars. Yep very nippy indeed!
If I had mine now I would:
buy 106 GTi interior
put decent suspension on it NOT GMAX!
oh and keep the standard fuel cap
:P

I was 17 when i insured my vtr, i did it on my own policy so i paid allot..
A bit of advice would be get on your mothers/fathers policy if thats possible and the price will drop allot.
I love my vtr, good choice for a first car buddy.

I've got a quote on one for £2.5k. I'm still not decided on whether to get one or not lol, I hate buying cars it's so much stress. I'm also thinking now about a 306 2.0 HDI. Anyone got any experiance on these?
