...It does...it totally blows..:rage:, ok i applied for like 3 jobs in the asda across the road from where i live...I thought i'd get it because i was right across the road and i'm a student...but nooo!...It sucks i didn't get 3 Damn jobs and now i'm furious because thats like 4 jobs i've applied for with no such luck!...Some i didn't even hear a sausage from them!

I might as well bloody give up now while i still have reasonable blood pressure

Anyone else had these problems?...Or am i the unluckiest person that lives?

Go to morrisons, or something precinkt (sp?) based. I Like mansfield, im sure you'll find something!

Join the club..... I've had 4 interviews recently.... got offered a job with 1 of them for £5K+ more than what I'm on now, but I turned it down for a few reasons...... but the job I want never seems to come up.

Thats the same as me, one thing i always do is follow up the cv with a phone call making sure the company got it. That shows that your willing :)

WE have just been recruiting in my office and my boss was saying to me that it is all about the cv. He said that the chances are he could have thrown away alot of really good agents but if from the cv he doesn't want to see them then he won't waste his time.

If an employer doesn't like what he/she reads in the very first paragraph then your buggered.

I've Just been made redundant (10th) and i've been on a cv building course.
Maybe you can get someone to write a cv for you, in worcester we have 2 companies that do it for free, called connections and next step.

Maybe these are national companies? you may have one near you?.
Definately worth looking into as they know how to word things.

My CV kicks ass also.........In my career I have applied for two jobs further a field than my hometown and got accepted at both of them.....but twice I have decided to stay on at my current job....due to payrises and bonuses.

Working on my international work aswell.......Looking to head out to Oz at end of next year for a year or so and work out there

My cv is kick ass for my age, even threw in a few complicated words, it looks the bomb lol
