quinn's quoting system is bullshit tho... i got about 4 quotes with them for my 2nd year of driving....(a few other like 2 months, before i got 1 year ncb)

and the 1651 was the 1 that was the day before so i had to pay this... it's bullshit

Its a good price if you have looked everywhere and i mean Everywhere and you could not get a a cheaper price. Personally i couldnt even get a TPFT quote on a VTR under £1200 so i didnt buy one. just becuase one person got has the exact same details as you got a quote for much less doesnt mean your quote must be wrong. Insurance prices change every day due to inflation and a lot more factors come into play when working out prices other than just the size of the engine.

Things that can affect the price of car insurance

Age
Sex
Where you live
No Claims Bonus
Points on your licence
If you have had claims before
How long you have held a licence
Engine Size of Car
BHP of Car
Mods
Security on the Car
How many claims that company have had on that model of car recently

Even if you had two people who had all the same details as above there is no certainty they would get the exact same quote.

There seem to be so many posts on here asking if that have been quoted a good price. There is NO answer to this question becuase of the facts above. I must have phoned 30 companies before i got a decent quote and filled in so many tiresome internet forms to get quotes. Only then can you say you have got the best quote you are likely to find.
