well i will be starting to drive in march, but thaught i would ad a year onto my age and see ruffly what my insurance is goin to be and the cheapest i found was from:

quinn direct
fire and theft
i didnt say anything about mods
£1500
0 years no claims
the car is t reg 1999

is that about right?what do you think

and does anyone have ruff ideas on how much insurance increases with alloys and performance exhaust?

cheers

quinn dont charge you for cosmetic mods. e.g alloys, bodykits. they only charge for prformance mods an suspension. wont go up too much though from exhaust. how old are you where you live? seems a tad high for an eastcoast that i got quoted 2150 for a 1.4 westcoast fully comp all mods declered eg exhaust, suspension.

i am 16 at the moment but had to put i was 17 allready so that they would quote me online, i live in guildford, south east. so if they dont charge you for cosmetic mods does that mean like body kits are not coved if smashed up in a crash?

cheers

...i was 17 with a Saxo once. Im 18 and drive a VTS...can get insured third party fire and theft on a VTR for around 900 quid...
surely theres not alot of difference in 17/18 year olds premiums?
