Dublin for new year

Me and my mates are going to Dublin for 5 days over new year, just wondering if anyone has every been to dublin and what they thought of it and recermend anywhere thanks

I've been to Dublin... Went with an ex for a long weekend and had a superb time. Stayed in a really nice hotel right in the centre and we went to many places (e.g. Dublin Zoo, Guiness Factory). Would love to go again.

As for new year... I contemplated in going there last year but in the end, I stayed in the UK. However, the year before that, I spent the New Year in Edinburgh (with the same ex) and that was SUPERB! Was sooo busy but the atmosphere was immense :)

dude dublin is awesome. expensive but firckin awesome. went with my sis bout a year ago. going again with some mates for saint paddy's next year.

been from ireland, have been to dubland numerous times, if ya want any info, just give us a bell, ill fill you in, if your after a nice spot in the centre i recommend Wynns Hotel on abbey street, bit on the dear side, but 5 min walk from everthing:thumbup:
