saxo steering is very light im afraid.
But your steering wheel can be rectified by having the tracking done properly or remove the steering wheel and place it abck on with the wheels straight, i would rather get the tracking done and get your wheels balanced as well

if ur old car had been lowered and had wider wheels and had better steering you may just be noticing the difference between the two cars??

If it was fine before you hit the pot hole, then you've definately knocked something off balance.
If your steering wheel is off centre when going in a striaght line, this can be corrected by having the tracking adjusted.
Bushes shouldnt effect the steering in any way... but they would make your suspension feel loose/shake over bumps, etc.
What size wheels do you have? If you use high air pressures in them, youre steering will feel a lot lighter than if lower pressure.
If youve bent a track rod end or something, then this could cause the symptons you describe. Other problems could be a damaged steering rack or joint, giving excessplay in the steering.
Basically, theres loads of things it could be, that can only be sorted by getting under the car or taking it to a garage who can be bothered looking into it properly.
