I did pass plus, helped out loads on my first policy. It even knocked off about £30 for the second year :)
It is worth doing aswell, teaches you how to drive in loads of different conditions :)

My brother did this after passing his test and took his insurance down from £2500 to about £1700.
Worth it more for lads as girls insurance is quiet low anyway.

When I first passed my test 4 years ago, I asked my insurance company how much it would save me and they said it would only be £40 on my policy so I never bothered. It saves some people money, best phoning up companies first to see
I couldn't complain about my insurance price though. £789 on a Nova SR when you're 17 is pretty good lol

You should call around insurance companies and ask them for 2 quotes, one with pass plus and one without. AS said, some companies are a bit poo for pass plus but some offer really good rates :)

i did pass plus straight away and got insured on a rover 100 for the same money!
id definately reconmend it when you first pass though, it helped me out for the motorway driving the most.

If your planning pass plus i think you should do it soon as in the not to distant future i think they are clamping down on it... As instructors are just passing out certificates willy nilly rather than doing all of the required lessons etc.
I thought it was suposed to be 6 lessons in total... for me that would have been £120 and it would have either knocked £0.00 off my insurance or the best part of £≤50

i want to do it as soon as i can, even with Quinn Direct who are already very cheap they can knock over £150 off for me .
Cant see why people wouldn't do it really, for most it saves you money and improves your driving skills.
