i thought from the sounds of things quinn direct was a good insurance company but i rang up for a quote on a pug 106 gti with details
im 20 with 1ncb fully comp and the returned with sorry we are unable to insure you on this high performance vehicle so i said well im insured on a 1.6 vtr at the moment fully comp to be replied with well the saxo vtr isnt a high performance vehicle...

Gti has an extra 8 valves so its not as much of a high performance as the GTi your VTR, should of said your insured on a VTS atm or another high spec hatchback like an A3 1.8 or above

the silly thing is bell offered me a quote on a saxo vts which is group 14 but quinn wont offer me a quote on a 106 gti which is either group 13 or 11 not to sure

but bell offered me fully comp for a vts at 3900 a year with 0ncb which i basically pmsl at
