try and find a metro forum if there is one and ask on there.

I am not 100% but isnt there a screw on the top of the light which adjusts the height ?

Two questions...

Are they dim (as in not very bright)?

or...

Do they shine too low?

I'm in a really helpful mood, so went and dug out the Haynes for my old Metro, It's been sat here for years now.

It says there's a "Plastic Knob" (Ow Err) on the back of the headlight. In fact there's actually two per unit, cos u can adjust them both verticlly and horizontally (1 up on the Saxo!). To adjust the height, you need to turn both knobs in the same direction. Sorry, good old Haynes doesn't tell you which way to turn them, you'll have to work that 1 out :P Do this with the headlight on and the car parked about a metre or so from a flat wall (Haynes says 10metres, but I don't agree).

Make adjustments untill they are in the desired position.

the suspension is so soft on a metro, you could have always just put a few things in the boot to get the front up in the air a bit! lol
