Okay its dilemma time and I need people’s advice. I currently have a 99 Saxo VTS which I have had since February. In that time I have had to do the following.
New Clutch
Cam belt
New CV boots
Oil changes
New lock mechanism

And bought:
Hi-spec 4 pots fitted
16" team dynamics Monza’s
Full PI suspension kit with 35mm drop (not fitted yet)
And I have a box full of everything that is needed for a turbo conversion (really good parts as well)

Now my dilemma is that I was going to sell everything because I didn’t have the time to do my turbo kit and everything was always a rush job because I need my car for getting to work so it was getting very stressful to do anything. A couple of weeks ago my cat rusted all the way through and is nearly dropping off so I have just ordered a new one and will be fitting it at the weekend but to be honest this was the last straw for the car with all the money I have spent on it over such a short time and I wanted it gone. I wanted something new, that didn’t break, cheap to run etc so ive ordered a Toyota aygo (commence piss taking) which I will be picking up on Tuesday. What surprised me though is that my work have actually decided to pay for the car! So it will cost me 0 a month. I had the turbo kit on EBay and it ended up going for £1711 so I thought nice one, I shall get that sold sell me saxo and be happy and I can settle my £3000 debt. But I have tried contacting the winner for a while now and he doesn’t seem to be responding so I think I will be stuck with the turbo kit. The question is….. Shall I get rid of everything and have done with it and pay of my debt. Or….. Keep both cars and have the saxo on the drive for a while and take my time with the turbo kit getting it fitted to a great standard instead of a stressed/rush job and then pay of the debt later as im actually due a few grand soon from some freelance work. I imagine it would make the saxo more valuable aswell. Let me know what you guys think.

P.S sorry for the essay!

No disrepect about the aygo, cos a everydaily drive should be anything that gets you from a-b comfortablally and in one peice without breaking down :-)

Hang on to the Saxo if you want to really go to town with all the above mentioned bits, but IMO I would get rid of it and call it a day, get what you can then start again £3000-£4000 will get you a good little older hot hatch and abit of play money if you feel you still want a weekend car.

Thats what I would do, as a Turbo'd Sax could become a money pit :-)

I would turbo it, but maybe consider selling the saxo and getting a newer one cause this one obviously got loads of problems....
