We had the Fire Alarm Evacuation message go off at 11:00 this morning..... Now I'm sure some of you are aware I now work on the 43rd floor of Canary Wharf Towr in London....... so I had to walk down 45 flights of stairs, then back up 2 flights to get back up to street level..... my legs are killing me....... gonna hurt like hell on Sunday!
Grrrr

Well when we got down stairs and out on the street side my Manager said "Who's up for a beer?", so of course we wasn't gonna pass the opportunity up, so got in the pub at about 11:20 and left at 1:20...... sweet!

depends on how many beers were being offered lol. at least you only had to come up 2 and not back up all of them. i wouldn't do that.

my Business Studies teacher set off the fire alarm this morning.. she has an alarmed fire exit in her room.. but the wind forced it open last night.. so its wedged shut.. and she nocked the wedge out :D:

Ohhh dear! - You all should take a day off sick for your injured leg muscles, hehe :P
There was an actual fire at the tescos I work at the other day... and they decided not to bother evacuating at all!

our fire alarms/evactuations are interesting to say the least, you have no where to go (rather high fences/barbed wire/20foot concrete walls!) except to the excersise yard or to the community/education block...you always get at least one kick off ;)

Oh god... i hate fire evacuations... especially since it's my job to help get people out quickly and safely... then there's always a bloody first aid call afterwards when some old dear decides to have a heart attack after.
love it.
