yeh im currently in my 2nd year of a masters in computer science lol, the maths was algebra mostly.
It was a lot of stuff already covered in 6th year advanced higher maths (scottish) which is higher than A levels i think, correct me if im wrong.
There was more advanced differentiation and integration which i hated, i scraped 41% to pass lol. they dont care what mark you get as long as you pass.

Its mainly going to be on the lines of A level maths. Probably more
advanced maths is required as you progress through the course mate!!

as a guess i wouldnt say it would be much more difficult than gcse unless they directly say maths alevel required, its all linked back to the actuall degree title, some uni's differ tho mate, some do the module some dont
theres always other options so say, you could opt not to do the module and do something else on the corse
get a prospectus mate :)

The maths module is compulsory on my course, you have to resit it in 2nd year if you dont pass, and if you fail it again you cant do 3rd year :fcuk:

i am on my first year of this course and actually doing the maths at the minute!
basically it has a little alegebra and then quadratic equations and trig and phyathehoris! dunt let this put you off but as the modules are sweet and in the maths you are giving as much help as you need as they hate seeing people fail
