First of all I want to say that I’m NOT being big headed at all here (it will seem it tho) and actually do want your advice. Also this will sound gay and something a girl would write but again I do want you advise.

Lately I’ve been getting lots of attention from girls…. Nothing much, obvious flirting, random smiles, dancing at clubs and them coming dancing right next to me, and then keep looking at me, and smiling… (This one could just be coincidence but at the time it seems something’s going on if you understand.) ermm random conversation with me, the most common one which annoys me tbh is girls telling me I’m cute. This winds me up because I’m only 5ft 3 so as I’m short I get this a lot, and cute to me means nothing.
But everytime I get this attention I don’t bother to do anything, I just sort of ignore it and then my mates go mad and call me a prick and all the rest of it. Yet they call me a player/pimp for just getting the attention (were 18 so the childish pimp calling is ok)

Basically what I’m getting at is… I’m really shy, and sometimes even tho I notice some of these things going on I don’t do anything, and my mates seem to think I should have, even I know I should have but again I’m really shy and my confidence is shit. When I’ve been drinking it’s not that bad, I’m not that shy. But I normally don’t drink as non of my mates can drive so I normally do.

1) should I do anything if I notice any of these “signs”
2) does cute actually mean anything lol
3) how can I stop being so shy ?

WHAT DO YOU DO IF IT'S SOMEONE I KNOW... my mates older sister....(my mate wouldnt have a problem with it) all my mates seem to think she's interested ... i dont think she is, but sometimes by the things she does and says it seems that she is. yet i still feel she's not....

lol about the wheels..... i work with alot of women and they all say you should be glad you havent got a gf... they said you'll have no money, and get the piss took of you basically.

it's not the gf bit... just in general my confidence is shite. it's ok when i have a drink because i dont care, but i cant always rely on alcohol to help me. and again i dont usually drink so it's only the odd time when i do.

my mates sister is awesome tho, would like something to happen there! but just have to see how it goes
