MG or Sax?

Yo dudes, need some advice from you lot, me mate has just bought an MG ZR 160 and it looks da dogs, i was finkin bout sellin me sax as it just aint as fast cos his goes like buggery... what do ya fink? P.S. We had a race a while back and he left me for dead, and hes a nutta!?

I personally know what i would have but if you like them then its your choice

yer the saxo vts is fast as far as am a where, but it will beat a vtr!

The way i would look at it is

VTS: group 14 insurance, smaller lighter and just as fast, but still only has the 1.6 16v engine returning better fuel economy.

160: Group 15 insurance, probably a bit better built, but bigger and heavier and uses 1.8 returning lesser fuel economy. And its a rover 25.

But if you like them then go ahead and get onesmileys/happy.gif

seriously don't know how you can question this... go sit in an MGzr and then sit in the saxo... whats your choice>??? MG everytime I bet, they're not much faster than the saxo, but are quicker 0-60, and handle far better round corners...and the feel of your drive is much nicer.

but your saxo will be more reliable..and is a lovely little car

seriously the mgzr likes her corners, not sure how or why, but its a pleasure going round a 40degree corner at 60mph

whereas in my saxo its a bit hectic

wen u say saxo which one do u mean?? The mgzr top notch ones does 0-60 in 8.5 seconds which is over half a second slower than the saxo vts and no little car handles better than a vtr/vts and certainly not a zr i know my mates got 1!!

I hold my hands up and say am wrong, its 0-60 in 7.4seconds which is faster than the saxo on book speed but as scott says i dout wen it came down to a race from the lights that it cud beat the vts!!

the mg has a larger gear range meaning you have to change gears less, making it quicker to 60mph thats all....
