Axle Stands and Car Ramps

Hey,

basically I need either a ramp or some axle stands so that I can work under the car properly. My grandad has a pit but it always has some old classic rust bucket sitting on top of it.

I'd rather go for a ramp to be honest but does anyone know anywhere that sells them at reasonable prices?

you would be surprised at argos i now they do a good price for axle stands you could see what they are like for ramps

Machine Mart do 2x Axle Stands and Trolley Jack for £27 I believe.

Lotsa cheap axel stands on eBay, you would just need to find a seller near you since there a big heavy to post!

I got mine from Halfords, they do the job fine and weren't really expensive.

I nicked a jack off my mate too ;)
