right, basically, i cant drive my car! the fob doesnt work anymore, therefore the central locking wont respond to the fob so the alarm and immobiliser are constantly active since i last locked it. I had to be towed home yesterday, now its sat abandoned on the drive. Getting an auto electrician to have a look, but what my question is, if its going to be an expensive job, can i just have the immobiliser and alarm cut off, so i can just lock and open the car via the key? (and not have an alarm and immobiliser)......

erm i fink tht wuld work butis it really worth disabling the security on ur car, plus if u do cut it off, make sure insurance company knows otherwise if it got broken into or stolen they would hjave incorrect information and may not pay out lol

what alarm do you have? If you get an auto spark to bypass it it should not take any more than 30 mins MAX so with a call out charge aswell i would say £60 -£80. Dont spend any more it is not hard to do Trust me i do it for my job. if you can wait i will prob be able tell you how to do it.

the unit is under the passanger side dash just pull it down and unplug it. I have not had much to do with the saxo alarm. but that should do the trick. if if is a battery back up siren just find it take it off the car and if it is still going off dunk it in water.
