Hi

What type of tool do I need to do undo the screws holding in the CD player (standard CD player in an 02 plate 1.1 Saxo).

There are'nt any screws. At least there were'nt in my Y reg..... there are clips on the sides of the headunit, you need to push pins into the holes in the corners, and jiggle them about untill you can pull out the headunit. (I used wire or you can probably get a tool from citroen but that would cost more than wire)

its like a C shape you need 2 1 for each side put them in the holes at end of the cd player a little wiggling and it should come out

halfords and local motor stores will sell these

When you push the pins into the holes, it pushes a clip out of the way which "should" then help ease the headunit out. Otherwise, take it to Halfrauds and they'll do it for you :)

if you put ur hand under the passenger side footwell and go up behind the centre console you can feel the back of the headunit, you can just push it out like this or use allenkey or screwdivers in the holes if u aint got the right tool
