i haver decided to go audi solid black and the v2s are easer to do then u think i thorght it would be a bitch with the spokes. the hardest thing to do is sanding them.

you dont have to
but the paint wont be shinny and it will protect it more
if this paint is meatlic start puuting the clear coat on when the paint is tacky

Im getting my 17's done for £35 a wheel (refurb and Spray)
15's = £25
16's = £30
Thats what i can get them for on trade so might be £5 or so more normally.
D_G_SAXO
1st December 2006, 21:06
i would say £45 pound per wheel 17"

2nd December 2006, 00:48
i would have left them as they were imo, nice wheels the v2's, im not sure if the spray cans would be advisable mate.... for things like wheels that are going to get caked and need a lot of cleaning i would have definatly used a compressor
stevossaxo
2nd December 2006, 00:49
also if you havent used laquer the paint has no protection buddy
D_G_SAXO
2nd December 2006, 08:19
i understand that stevosaxo but i have saved myself £200 so if thay do happen to chip i will just take it off and rub it down and spray again but i think thay will be fine.
oh i sprayed them black because i am going black and blue theme so i think thay will be tasty on the car i will have them on in a few days have to get two new tyres
D_G_SAXO

They wont last very long then to be honest :shock:
The do look very nice though
spanair
2nd December 2006, 22:29
I would recommend that you put on some lacquer (matt or not) without it the paint wont last you as long as it would otherwise, I understand you want them on the car asap but I think it's best since you already started to get them done all the way and not having to do them next week again!. Your wheels though and like I said before they look nice.

2nd December 2006, 23:39
I think when I do mine it'll be one wheel at a time...very literally. As I have no other wheels for her and need my car nearly every day.
