How much would a new one cost me to do and is it easy enough to change them???
Citroen garage keep them in stock?
also what spark plugs do you recomend.

sensor, ive poped it off today and checked to see if it was corroded but its fine so im guessing my problem is my coil pack/spark plugs

alrite mate, i had the same problem and it ended up being the map sensor!
I changed the coil pack, spark pugs, coolant sensor, fuel pump and idle valve!
I was told all the things above could be the problem and it just so happened to be the map sensor which had to be the last thing i changed so good luck!
If your wondering where the map sensor is mate, its located on the front of the inlet manifold ok mate, just in case you want to check the sensor is connected properly!

jus said on another thread that my car had idle problems and was revving by itself even when driving, got it hooked up to diagnostic check today and turned out to be Engine Coolant Sensor. a great thread is pinned to the top of the forum mate

yes its on the pinned thread!!! a big green coloured sensor on the right side of your rocker cover
