Strut brace for 1.1?

I have a mk 1 1.1sx..... and read good thigns about strut braces and there handling benefits so could any of you advise a decent one for my car one that will fit and i will be able to shut bonnet fully etc..... an upper strut i mean

There was a Racleand one on Ebay the other day Buy it now £30.

It seemed decent enough I cant see the point in spending much more than that as its not going to make a great deal of difference.

yeh I have an E-Tech one on mine and I think it looks ace. Sometimes you have problems shutting the bonnet fully with the bonnet holder still attached but it looks ace.

if not one of those then definetely gofor the OMP one.

I just fitted a Momo one that I got off ebay for £20! The seller made a hash of the title, not including car model etc... I think it looks amazing! Noticed the difference in handling too, much better.

Also, I'd be careful with those new red ones on eBay, since my mate bought a "Sparco" one, but it was just a crappy copy with a sticker on!

so im guessing they all fit the same cars 1.1 - vts? how do fit em? is it easy? do u just undo the bolts on the top or wud the strut just fall off?
