hey,
my saxo expose 1.1 fan isnt cutting in, resulting in my car to overheat. apparently my fan switch has burnt out due to my headgasket going recently. can anyone tell me wher to find it? is it the one on the fan with a red clip?

thanx

I'm not sure what you mean with regards to the "switch" but it might be worth checking the fuse(s).

Check fuse numbers F3 and F5 under the bonnet. These ones are on the far right column. F3 is the top one F5 is the one underneath. Both fuses deal with the cooling fan unit.

All fuses are fine under bonnet and in passenger compartment thing. i was told to find my fan switch and use a paper clip to make a contineous circuit to see if my fan cuts in. having propblem finding it tho.

i had the same problem on my 1.1- i took the realy out (on the right as you look at the front of the car, next to the fan), i blew on it all and replaced it, worked fine. If that doesn't work, buy a new relay. Mine overheated because of it too, hankfully I didnt kill any seals or gaskets though!

good luck
