I don't think this has been mentioned before but I think it would be a good idea if would could have a sticky thread with recommendation companies that do lowering, window tints, bodywork etc within our own region.

What does everyone else thin?

good idea luke, it could be in the regional meet area's as it seems to be that alot of people are popping up in them asking about lowering and the like :)

Yeah, that is what I was thinking.

It would be a good idea to get some feedback from fellow region members and see what they think. For instance...in Yorkshire if anyone asks about lowering people usually mention Ricky P - I think things like that will help and save questions.

Haha! You think too much boyo... People will still ask questions. It's easier to ask than to search. We all know that. But... good suggestion :)

I'll see what other interest I get from this thread.

Damo has got a point, but I do think it could work.

Can only put it through trial and error mate :)

You have to be careful in choosing what garages/companies to recommend because people would be under the impression that if a place is recommended then they "should" be professional, etc... So if one person has a bad experience, should that company be taken off or go by the "everybody makes mistakes" scenario?

Members should put up companies who they've had dealings with... Explained what that company did and how they helped, etc... It's then up to other members to decide whether or not they want to go with them.

good idea mate, however there could be some conflict between members with recommendations such as yours with ricky-p. i tried to contact him and left messages and got no reply so i wouldn't recommened him, however i tried him first as i had heard was he was the best.

would it not be better to have different companys put in a sticky and then members can add coments to that good or bad??

I do understand people might have different opinions about different people, but maybe for the lowering recommendations you could have 3 diffent people.

If you get my drift..
