window stain

hi there, ive tryed looking about for a thread with it on but had no look, so has anyone else had like a water stain in there rear window? its on like the black surround and it was there wen i bought the car an iy hasnt got any worse jus wonderd if any knows what it may be?

Is this internally or externally? What colour is the stain?

Im guessing you mean the white one that follows the line of the window seal in a curve? If it is, the easiest way is apparently wet and dry sandpaperin it. Read it on here before, have a lil search

it seems to be in the window as it cant be rubbed off, an its like a grey colour looks like water has seeped in the window some how? its on the rear 2 i think or it mite jus be the one but its really gettin on ma tits now an wouldnt mind gettin it sorted

yea i have that problem mate, havent taken much notice of it though. I tinted the back 2 windows, so you cant see it as much from the outside

that was my next question lol was gonna see if i would need new windows as it may ruin the tint. cheers

you have to sand (wet and dry) it then respray it with matt black paint, job done

my tint looks fine at the moment, but i only had it on a couple of month. Another option is to colour it in with a black permanent marker :)
