Looking for a new disgital camera........

Right, im looking for a new digital camera, was thinking of an slr. I want a decent one to take some quality pics, but dont want to spend stupid money on a one as it will end up getting chucked about when its in my bag travelling to and from work places.

I have seen some great scenery over here in russia and want to take some good quality pics when i come back at the start of next year. want to get some snaps of the wildlife to, some mad big eagles and bears over here.

I would suggest a Canon EOS 350D or for that little bit extra get the 400D, I am slightly biased as i own a 350D, but i believe it is a good budget SLR.

I had a couple of pics blown up to 30" x 20" the other day and is good quality even at that size.

I'll post a pic of the posters later to show you the quality if you want.

Hope this helps. I can only comment on these cameras cause i own a 350D.
There are other good cameras about but i haven't used them so wont comment.:d

from my limited usage of my 400d :P its a cool camera.. and the pics are slowly getting better as my knowledge of the functions improves...
