Alryt guys n gals this one has to be answered asap...its doin my nuts in!!!!! Whenever the car is idling there is a MASSIVE deep vibration...ive checked the bonnet and nothing...then i sit in the car..rev it...and its fine until it drops down to the idle speed...i definatley think its got sumthing to do with the exaust?? im not to sure! if any1 has had this problem or has any ideas PLEASE post!!! cheers guys n gals!!!

wheres tht located mate n where can i get a new one????? cheers!! its lyk ive got a subwoofer in me exaust its dat deep n loud! imo

oh btw have you got an aftermarket exhaust or a stnadard one?
and check that you dont have a subwoofer in the back

hahah i do! tht cant b it can it? its a bass cannon!! haha its not it because the car vibrates sooo much and only at idle revs...and the bass cannon aint tht good! and its a standard exaust...hasnt been touched......yet:P

right im not sure exactly as a garge did mine but its where the pipes join, there are sealing cups
also check the bushes that holdit to the car and make sure they aint letting it clang

cud tht b the deep vibration?? so ur positive its coming from the exaust and theirs something loose? how much did it cost you for the garage to look at it and fix it? cheers bud

if u reckon its the exhaust get urself a look underneath and check for any knackered hangers and just general condition.

well i dunno realli mate! i jst no it aint coming from the engine...and the only thing that could make the car vibrate is the exaust area!!! so looks like i'm gonna have to get down and dirty tomorrow...cheers lads ill let ya no wot i find

i think mine has a similar problem - it idles badly and seems like it could cut out when im at traffic lights ive braked a bit hard.

engine mountin mate defo ive got same problem more than likely drivers side mount, either u ave snapped a bolt or the mount is fucked

either engine mount or heat shield on exhaust, removal of heat sheild is about a tenner from a garage. engine mount dont know the cost.

dusnt the exaust need a heat shield?? and r u sure sure sure its the engine mount lavo?

i gave the engine a good hard shake n its steady as a rock! so i dont fink its da engine mount:S....n theres nothing wrong with the exaust!! ARR its got to be something..this is really pissing me off now!
